Deceased Participants

 

Marking a Participant as Deceased

  • Navigate to PARTICIPANT > BASIC INFO > STATUS.
  • Change the Status from Active to Deceased.
  • Click Save.
    Note: Be cautious—reactivation requires additional support.

Reactivating a Deceased Participant (Support Required)

  • Identify the participant and their household:
  • Use Advanced Search, uncheck Exact Name, and set Status to Deceased.
  • Click Search to open the Manage People page.
  • Ensure only Deceased is checked in Participant Status, then search again.
  • Deceased participants appear in mustard yellow (Inactive).
  • Locate the participant’s household:
  • Click the Household Name link OR
  • Search by Household Name (Primary Participant Name).
  • In the Household Basic Info page, check Show Deceased Participants under Household Members to verify details.
