Export Request

 

To create and review export requests in Data Import/Export > Export Requests, follow these steps:

  1. Create a New Export Request
    • Name the request (e.g., "9902 10/1/20-9/30/21")
    • Enter your email address
    • Select the export date (date of request)
    • Choose the plug-in (options vary based on agency setup)
    • Set the start and end dates for the reporting period
    • Select one or more programs from the dropdown (varies by plug-in)
    • Choose items under reports to include (varies by plug-in)
  2. Specific Plug-in Instructions
    • HUD: Mark the 9902 report and XML format for submission review. XML is required but difficult to read.
    • Other Plug-ins (CSBG, HMIS, PIR, Neighbor Works, OAAPS): Follow similar selection steps, ensuring all necessary reports are included.
  3. Processing & Reviewing Export Requests
    • Requests run overnight. Return the next day to review.
    • Click the triangle next to the report name to expand details.
    • Use View Details to check requested information.
    • For HUD: Review in HTML format (easier to read). If verified, submit the report.
  4. Handling Errors & Re-Submitting
    • If errors are found, correct the data and copy the request using the copy button.
    • The new request will pre-fill with previous details.
    • Submit and review the new request the following day.
