Staff Education & Training - Self Update

 

EmpowOR now allows staff to update and edit their own education, training, and certifications. However, administrators must first grant access for staff to see or edit this information in the "My Information" area.

Access Control Settings

There are two function access permissions that determine staff access:

  • Can Edit User Info – Allows staff to edit their information.
  • Can View User Info – Allows staff to view their information.

Steps to Enable Staff Access

Administrators can grant access in two ways:

  • Manage Staff Access
  • Navigate to Staff Management > Can Edit User Info > Manage Access and grant access to the appropriate staff roles.
  • Navigate to Staff Management > Can View User Info > Manage Access and grant access to the appropriate staff roles.
  • Manage Staff Roles
  • Select the staff role and click the Yellow Lock Icon.
  • Go to Staff Management and enable Can Edit User Info and Can View User Info for the selected role.

Once access is granted, staff can update their own education and training records in EmpowOR.
