SUMMARY:
The MANAGE REFERRALS feature in empowOR helps you track referrals made through the system.
- How it works:
- It records the date you follow up on referrals received within empowOR.
- It tracks whether a family applied for benefits after your contact.
- It works with the "CHECK ELIGIBILITY" button on the participant's Basic Info screen.
- How to use MANAGE REFERRALS:
- When you act on a referral by contacting the participant, you
- should record your efforts using MANAGE REFERRALS.
- Go to "PARTICIPANTS" → "REFERRALS."
- Search for the participant.
- Click the "EDIT" icon next to the referral. You can track the status of your referral, and if/when your family/participant received services.
- Record any relevant information in a case note.
